How great it is to obey Jesus Christ! For the beauty of life unfolds when we follow Him. But, there is nothing much better than simply obeying Christ because He says so, because He is the center of our lives, because He is God.

As Christians, we are most concerned of the afterlife, our place in heaven with God. But, we must also concern ourselves with the earth and everything He created in it. The state of our environment is much like what happened to Nineveh.

The result of greed for profit and consumption is environmental destruction. Enterprising corporations encourage and feed insatiable consumers to keep billions and billions of profits coming. Depletion of world resources for the benefit of a few individuals. A Christian loves God and cares for His creations.

Help for Gay Men and Women
In the Christian Church, not much help is available for people who struggle with same sex attraction. This is precisely because people do not know how to help. However, help is certainly still available. It might just take time to find it. There is Exodus, New Hope, and Bagong Pagasa. Just search for them on the Internet, and choose the help available in your area.

Just as Jesus Christ demonstrated his love for everyone, how is his love different for those who struggle with same sex attraction? Though this condition is not agreeable to God, but because of His love for us He will work to set us on the right path. He loves us as much as the next guy who is straight.

No More Excuses
For the longest time, I have been a Christian, but far too many times, I have been afraid to give God full control of my life. As such, I am bound to fall, and I have fallen so many times. But, a real Christian should follow Him all his life. So, I submit all to You Lord Jesus and no longer will I disobey Your authority. No more excuses.

Seek and Heed
My Lord, I do not resent neither discipline nor rebukes from You. Instead, I am consumed by guilt and shame that I run away from You, like Adam and Eve hid when they disobeyed. I commit my soul to You, and do only what You will.

False Pride
As each day comes, I rely much on myself and the provisions of the world. Come hell or high water, I will prevail. But hardships are unnecessary, I only have to look to the Father and ask for His generous help.
