1 John 1:7 NIV But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

To be authentic Christians, we need to live with obedience to God. When we are with God, we obey, we are consistent, and we grow. Also, we progress with other Christians. When we do not fellowship with other Christians, something is wrong. Perhaps, a cherished sin. However, this is not to say that true Christians no longer sin. Rather we need constant cleansing from our day-to-day sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. And we are cleansed when we obey, and we fellowship with other believers.
